Ok, so I have tons of Blondies in my days but it never met my expectations. Some were overcooked and some were just kind of blah? Nothing special. So why mine? I literally did so many trials and errors to create a beautiful chewy blondie. Let me tell you, it is exactly that soft, chewy, chocolatey, perfectly baked.
I have made this recipe so many times for a bunch of different occasions. It is definitely a crowd pleaser. Add some M&M’s or chocolate chips and you are a winner.
Now that it’s the holiday season these blondies are the perfect gift to give or even just to bake for yourself. Let me set the scene, it’s 8 pm you’re watching a good Christmas LifeTime movie and craving something sweet. This is the go-to recipe. Plus it makes a small batch in an 8inch square baking pan perfect to satisfy a craving.
What is a blondie?
Blondies share similar ingredients to brownies but are opposites. Blondies for more vanilla based rather than chocolate based like brownies. Blondies are buttery, chewy and soft loaded with any add-ins of your choice. During the holidays I love adding M&Ms to the blondies.
